“Ain't Gotta Dime” will be the title of the new CD of Boo Boo Davis. In July and August, 2009 they had the pleasure and honor of playing on a string of big blues & jazz festivals all over Europe. During those long travels they got a lot of ideas for new songs. So in the middle of the tour they went into the studio for two days and recorded this new record.
All fourteen songs were played live in the studio without any overdubs and for most songs the first take turned out to be the best one. They didn’t ‘polish’ or ‘fix’ anything. This is exactly how they sound live.
The official release of the new record is October 12, 2009 but from today you can already order your copy right now in the web shop of Black & Tan. If you can’t wait another 5 to 7 days you can already listen to three tracks from the record at Boob Boo's Myspsace website.
Like almost the entire Black and Tan catalogue, the new Boo Boo Davis release is available for podcasts and blogs at Podsafe Music Network and IODA Promonet.
