“Dr-Blues, the doctor is in” … most blues lovers probably know this website. On this site Albert Strockmeijer alias Dr-Blues presents from 10.00 in the morning till 22.00 hours in the evening, a radio program with blues music in all his varieties. But because the doctor can’t find but one benefactor to support him financially, it looks like Dr-Blues has to stop. That means that at the end of December the plug will be pulled out definitely. Dr-Blues has no other options. Copyright organisations like Sena and Buma/Stemra have such high financial demands that it is impossible for the doctor to pay these high costs. You know, since November 2006 the site had more than 50.000 visitors and they listened to a great variety of blues, so stopping would be a very sad thing indeed.
